One Show: annual
What’s the only thing cooler than getting in the One Show book? How about designing it. Ok, getting in is still cooler but the sentence structure worked best that way. Anyway, The One Club asked us to design a box set for the new One Show annuals. The concept came out of a simple truism. If you are in the One Show book, the first thing you do is find the page number you’re on and look at your work. So we figured, why not blatantly tell your jealous colleges that you made it in, and exactly which page number your “pro bono” ad can be found. Right on the cover. The clean black and white design (you’re either in it or not) played to the concept. Stickers inside allowed you to tag various work with funny quips like “My old partner did that.” These sold like crazy and won lots of creative awards. And yes, the writer who worked on it, was also in it. Pages 44, 83, 133, 252, 284.
