Ocean Spray: Straight from the Bog

The year was 2005 and the time had come for a new campaign for our long time client, Ocean Spray. For inspiration, we tacked up a bunch of photos taken during an actual cranberry harvest. As we sat around, surrounded by this unique and beautiful imagery of growers standing waist deep in their bogs raking berries, it came to us. Since cranberries come from a good place, lets define that “place.” And since Ocean Spray is a grower owned company, why not let the growers proudly tell the world all about their tastes good, good for you products.

Simple, powerful, ownable, and entertaining, Straight from the Bog has been a remarkable success story for Ocean Spray. But it has not only done wonders for their bottom line, they’ve integrated it into their entire culture. Which is fitting given Ocean Spray’s corporate headquarters are located in Massachusetts, beside several working bogs, where every employee can’t help but be reminded of the campaign every time they look out the window.
